We are excited to introduce the talented and passionate teaching professionals who make up the PB(973) coaching team. Our goal has always been to provide our members with the highest level of instruction, guidance, and support—whether you are picking up a paddle for the first time, looking to improve your skills, or striving to compete at the highest levels.
Our team brings together decades of playing experience, coaching expertise, and a shared passion for growing the game of pickleball. Each instructor brings a unique background and teaching style, but they all share one commitment: helping every player improve, build confidence, and enjoy the journey.
Tony Corbo
Owner & Teaching Professional
Tony Corbo is one of the owners of PB(973) and has been a driving force in the growth of pickleball since 2008. Over the past 18 years, Tony has introduced more than 40,000 new players to the sport, earning a reputation as one of the area’s most experienced instructors, accomplished competitors, and passionate ambassadors for pickleball.
As a prior certified pickleball teaching professional, Tony is known for his energetic, patient, and engaging coaching style. He works with players of all levels from beginners learning the fundamentals to advanced competitors looking to refine strategy, shot selection, and overall court awareness.
Tony’s commitment to growing the sport extends beyond coaching. From 2018–2022, he served as the New Jersey District Ambassador for USA Pickleball, helping promote the game throughout the state by supporting players, clubs, tournaments, and local pickleball communities.
As a competitor, Tony has played as high at the Senior Professional level and has earned numerous 5.0 tournament titles. His accomplishments include winning the 2024 New York State Open 50+ 5.0, 2023 Colts Neck Open 5.0+, two-time New Jersey Senior Games Champion and earning multiple additional championship finishes. Tony also had the opportunity to face off against Riley Newman, Eden Lica and other top pros in the 2019 NJ State Open finishing 4th in a field of 22 Men's 5.0+ Teams.
As an owner of PB(973), Tony is dedicated to creating an outstanding pickleball experience for every member while continuing to share his passion for the sport with the community.
Ksenia Svirnovskaya
Pickleball Professional Coach
Ksenia Svirnovskaya is a PPR-certified Pickleball Professional Coach known for her passion for the sport, strategic approach, and encouraging coaching style. As both a dedicated coach and competitive player, she combines technical knowledge with a supportive teaching philosophy to help players of all levels improve their skills and achieve their goals.
Ksenia is a member of USA Pickleball and holds a 4.5 DUPR rating. She has completed multiple professional certification programs, including PPR Level 1 and Level 2 Coach Certifications as well as the PPR Junior Development Certification, allowing her to work with a wide range of players including beginners, advanced competitors, junior athletes, recreational players, and individuals with disabilities.
As a competitive player, Ksenia has earned gold in 4.0 Women’s Doubles and silver in 4.0–4.5 Mixed Doubles, bringing valuable tournament experience and strategic insight to every coaching session.
Ksenia is the creator of the “People-Practice-Progress” coaching method, which focuses on understanding each player, creating purposeful practice, and encouraging continuous improvement. Through personalized instruction, she helps players develop stronger fundamentals, better decision-making, and the confidence to reach their full potential.
Tatianna Corbo
Pickleball Teaching Professional
Tatianna Corbo has been involved in pickleball since the age of 7 and has developed into one of the sport’s rising talents. Competing at the 5.0+ level, Tatianna brings firsthand experience, dedication, and a deep understanding of what it takes to improve and succeed on the court.
With more than 7 years of coaching experience, Tatianna has worked with players of all ages and skill levels from beginners learning the basics to advanced players looking to elevate their performance.
Having personally progressed from a 3.5-level player to competing at the 5.0+ level, Tatianna understands the challenges players face throughout their development. Her coaching combines technical instruction, strategic insight, and personalized guidance to help each player reach their individual goals.
Whether you are stepping onto the court for the first time or preparing for higher-level competition, Tatianna creates a fun, encouraging environment where players gain confidence, improve their skills, and develop a lifelong love for the game.
Roger Davis
Pickleball Teaching Professional
Roger Davis is a familiar and respected face in the local pickleball community. If you have played pickleball in the area, chances are you have already met Roger on the courts.
With a lifelong background in competitive sports—including tennis, swimming, soccer, and baseball—Roger brings a strong athletic foundation and a deep understanding of competition, movement, and skill development to PB(973).
Roger quickly became immersed in the local pickleball scene, becoming a well-known community organizer and advocate for growing the sport. His instructional background includes directing municipal youth sports programs and operating a successful private coaching business.
Known for his kind, encouraging, and welcoming approach, Roger combines a strong understanding of pickleball strategy and mechanics with a coaching style that helps players of all levels thrive. Whether introducing new players to the game or helping experienced players refine their skills, Roger creates a positive environment where everyone can learn, improve, and enjoy pickleball.

Scott Haegele has been involved in racquet sports since 1999, when he began playing tennis. He discovered pickleball in 2018 and quickly developed a passion for the sport. With more than 8 years of pickleball experience, Scott has made the sport his primary focus, combining his extensive racquet-sports background with his experience as a competitive player and teaching professional.
As a competitive player, Scott has won multiple tournaments at the 3.5 and 4.0 levels and reached a career-high 4.6 DUPR rating. His background in tennis, combined with years of playing and competing in pickleball, gives him a strong foundation in technique, strategy, movement, and the fundamentals of the game.
Scott especially enjoys working with new and developing players. He believes one of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching a player progress from learning the basics to gaining confidence, advancing through the levels, and eventually becoming a true pickleball enthusiast. His goal is to help players not only improve their skills, but also develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the game.
Scott teaches skills-and-drills and various clinics, creating a fun and encouraging environment where players can learn, compete, and continue to improve. He brings the same passion for pickleball that led him from tennis to this sport in every clinic, with the goal of helping others discover what makes pickleball so much fun.
